About me

My name is An-Magritt, and I make ceramics in the old dairy room in the barn here on the farm. My everyday life here consists of family, walks in the forest, and clay taking shape.

For me, clay is not about production. It's a way of being in everyday life. I work in small series, with my hands involved in the entire process. I throw several cups at a time, but never in a hurry. Everything that doesn't work out is recycled and given a new form.

Nature is important to me. The forest, the weather, and the daily walks with my dog set the rhythm of my days. They also leave their mark on what I create – in colors, textures, and in the imperfect that is allowed to remain imperfect.

This is not a business as one might expect. It is a part of my life.

There is usually a large wolfhound on the floor, taking up almost all the floor space.

When you buy something I have made, it has been shaped here on this farm – between walks in the forest and hours in the ceramics room.
