About the ceramics
Everything you find here is handmade in my workshop.
Each cup, bowl, and candlestick begins as a lump of clay on the potter's wheel or workbench. It dries slowly, is fired in a ceramic kiln, glazed by hand, and fired again.
The process takes time.
Therefore, you will also see small variations in shape, glaze, and color. No two items will be exactly alike. This is a natural part of the craft – and part of what gives each piece its unique expression.
The ceramics are made in small batches.
They are made to be used in everyday life – for coffee, tea, food, or candles – and to become a part of your home over time.
